I’m going to touch on a subject that I know a lot of you are unclear on. I live in Michigan, where recreational cannabis use was legalized recently; it wasn’t until then that I found out how this was set up, considering there is no legal way to purchase cannabis products unless you’re a medical marijuana patient.
If you’re more interested in the medical and holistic health side of the cannabis movement in our country, some good info about that and the place to find the best products available are here. This includes hemp oil, cbd oil, essential oils, and other variations of this plant’s use in our country, usually in the form of creams, edibles, tinctures, and various oils.
In Michigan, there is no legal way for an adult to purchase something that is legal to consume, until they get the infrastructure to set up to grow, transport, sell, and tax sales. Now I’m talking about weed, thc oil, dabs, and other things that get people high.
It is legal to give recreational weed away.
You read that correctly. You can be given recreational or medicinal weed, by anyone, legally. You can consume it, legally, if you’re an adult in Michigan and in other states where it is legal recreational-ly. Adults can also grow 10 plants, have 2.5 ounces of products on their person while driving at any time, and even more safely locked-up at home, legally. Where can you buy recreational weed in Michigan? Nowhere, yet.
You can’t buy weed yet.
A person can grow the product at home, use it and give it away. So how long will this last? It might last forever. This all depends on how strict the infrastructure is that they set up, and which allowances in the law are taken back. I hope you’re already thinking about what people can do to get their hands on some!
This reminds me of the way the medical marijuana act in Michigan states that the caregiver is not selling the medicine to the patient. The patient is paying the caregiver for the cost of growing it. The patient covers the expenses of cultivation, including the time put in by the caregiver.
In Michigan, and I’m sure in other states, dispensaries were likely shut down in your area, and that’s because the federal government does not agree with our state government. Soon you’ll see that local entrepreneurs, medical marijuana growers, and weed enthusiasts will work around the restrictions, in order to help you get your hands on some before the government gets more involved.
Local social clubs are offering membership for various prices, with different amenities. Come in for your free gift. This is the best way to see it, smell it, touch it, and maybe try it, without ever doing something illegal.

The community of people who can benefit from these offerings is so immense. Pain management can be easier, more affordable, and safer with the distribution by the people who already have it for medicinal use in the state.
If you’re interested in learning how these clubs can operate legally, what all they do, and how this can benefit our community, or not, read my post, here.
The link here is to a place I stash some products I found on eBay. Yea, eBay has “free gifts” offered already, you just have to know how to look for them.
